CPS Safety Tactical Floatation Support System

The CPS Tactical Flotation Support System (covert model*) consists of a right and left unit independent of each other. Each unit includes a black in color, reusable welded flotation bladder made of 200-denier nylon, a camo green pouch, an inflation system, a pouch closure system, and a firing handle. Inflation system actuated with a Leland 38 gram CO₂ filled cartridge P/N CPS-86121Z 2W134 (cartridge not included) or through an oral inflation tube. Specially designed Grommet, Loop and Pin (GLP) closure system prevents accidental deployment as well as compacts the pouch to a fully packed size of 6.5 x 2.75 x 2.25 in (16.5 x 7 x 5.7 cm ).

The unit is designed as a “One Size Fits All” floatation system. The unit is designed to provide a minimum of 45 lb (20.5 kg) of positive buoyancy at 33 ft (10 m) and 80 lb (36 kg) at the surface in seawater. The overt tactical floatation system** is the same with the exception of a yellow colored bladder with reflective tape and a gray or black pouch.
